Video Recording Lesson

TGR Foundation offers a video tutorial for the online video recording tool Flipgrid which allows students to explain their thinking, provide individual reflection, and collaborate with their classmates through comments in a contained environment. Learn how to set up an account, make grids for students to add video, and some of the important security features that keep these videos from being seen by people outside your classes. Virtual Home STEM Lab

TIES STEM Families Virtual Home Lab is a series of online workshops to share practical tips, virtual experiments, and other concrete tools that families—even those with little time, few resources, and no STEM exposure or teaching experience—can use to engage their children’s learning. STEM education leaders from across the country will offer a variety of activities for different age groups to engage students in STEM learning with resources found around the house.
