Cyber is the encompassing field of all things related to computers and networks, and how they can be used to develop and maintain technology. As cyber is focused around the internet, the field must overcome significant security challenges. Being able to maintain security in cyberspace is critical to protecting computer systems and networks, devices, and data from cyber threats. These threats can cause significant problems for all organizations from local governments, federal departments and agencies, including the DoD, as well as companies across all industries, and our national security overall. The field of cyber is vast, with potential leap-ahead technologies just around every corner, including advances in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and remote command of machines.
