Luka Gleba, a third-year senior undergraduate at Pennsylvania State University (Penn State) in the College of Information Sciences and Technology (IST), was recently awarded a Science, Mathematics and Research for Transformation (SMART) scholarship by the Department of Defense (DoD).

STEM Education and Outreach Advocate of the Quarter Award

The Department of Defense (DoD) honored Dr. Rose A. Pesce-Rodriguez from the US Army Research Laboratory (ARL), Weapons and Materials Directorate, Energetic Materials Science Branch, as the 2017 second quarter winner of the DoD Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Education and Outreach Advocate of the Quarter Award.
